On more mundane issues, the Ladies won their Stroud Valleys' fixture against Fairford by 6-2 on points, and 37-33 shots. The Ladies move up to third in their league. Their next game is on Monday 11th July against Cam at home.

Gary won 17-10 against Dave Williams from Chippenham Park and advances to the next round. We wish him good luck in his match against Jim Ennis from Chippenham Town.

In the County Over 60s Triples competition, Malc, Alan, and Paul lost to a triple from Devizes on the last end, on the very last bowl, 20-21. The Devizes triple will play Brad, Ruby, and John in the next round. Brad, Ruby, and John beat a triple from Amesbury by 17-15. Tim, Roy, and Brian beat a Highworth triple by 26-3 and move forward to play a triple from Marlborough in the next round.

Finally, Gary had a fantastic win by 21-2 in the County Unbadged Singles, against a Pewsey Vale player.
