Paul Lucas beat Andy Brown in an epic two-and-a-half-hour match that was played in true sporting spirit with players playing very well. The match went to the last end at 20-20 with Paul needing 2 and Andy needing 1 to win. Paul managed to score 2 to win. Many thanks to Graham Mockridge, the marker, who wore his knees out with the amount of measuring he had to do.

Roy Wilcox beat Alan Rice-Smith. Useful practice for both as they will meet again in the Men's Championship Final.
