Sunday 15 August 2021 saw a lovely, friendly visit from Highworth Bowls Club. They arrived early so availed themselves of some practice time on the Malmesbury Mat.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and it was touching to see how much support the young lad from Highworth received from both teams. Where does Arthur keep his secret stash of KitKats?

Malmesbury made the most of their home advantage and won by 99-54 shots, the scores on the door were:

  • Rob Stinchcombe 11 - Paul Barrow 16

  • Roger Pope 24 - Jim O'Cleary 9

  • Arthur Pound 19 - Ian Dandy 9

  • Albert Parker 23 - Hazel Hayes 10

  • Bob Stinchcombe 20 - John White 10
